On the other hand...

It was HOT yesterday. How hot, you ask? Well, we hit a high of 97 but with the humidity it actually felt more like 100. Heck, it was hotter than it was in Manila that day, and it's the height of summer over there.

Steve and I felt that it probably wouldn't be a good idea to be outdoors yesterday. We decided *not* to go to the Italian Festival after all. We decided to go to the Wolfchase mall instead, which was nice and airconditioned. Besides, I had a craving for the vegetable dish at our favorite fast food kiosk: the Mandarin Garden.

I also got a chance to do something I've never done before in my life: wear a knee-high skirt in public without stockings. That may sound ridiculous to you, but it's true: here I am, 31 years old, and I've never worn a knee-high skirt in public without stockings. I should do that more often :-).
