Happiness is...
Current Mood: CC is listening to: a Six Sigma online module Happiness is having a favorite classic movie in common. Steve loves Singin' in the Rain as much as I do. We watch it once a year, no fail, usually during Christmas. But we ended up watching it again just a few weeks ago.
Steve didn't notice this: during scenes like Good Mornin', I snuck a look at him just to see his reactions. I mean, he's seen this movie with me every year. Was he watching the movie with me tonight just because *I* wanted to watch it, or does he truly enjoy the film as much as I do?
I got warm fuzzies when I saw that not only was he was watching it intently, he was smiling as he was watching. It was one of those definitive moments that told me I married the right guy :-).

Current Mood: CC is listening to: TV Happiness is a stack of crackers, a small can of potted meat, a can of diet soda, and putting your feet up on the coffee table as you watch a good movie on Sunday afternoon :-).

Current Mood: CC is listening to: She's Got a Way--Billy Joel (The Complete Hits Collection) Happiness is when the only things you need to worry about today are ironing a small stack of clothes, clearing the dishwasher, and wiping the kitchen countertops :-).
Happiness is your husband's dogs accepting you to the point that they'll get up and sit by your feet even if you're only 3 feet from where they originally lay :-).
Happiness is watching TV on the sofa with your husband, with your head fitting just right against his chest, and him absentmindedly scratching your back.
Happiness is when you get home at 11:30pm bummed out because Wendy's ran out of their Manadarin Chicken Salad and your husband offers to drive to another Wendy's that's twice as far away so he can get you some :-).
Happiness is when your husband pampers you by drawing you a hot bath, making you some sleepytime tea, keeping you company in the bathroom, then snuggling in bed with you until you fall asleep :-).
Happiness is when you crawl into bed at 1:30 am with cold feet and your husband responds by sleepily rolling over and wrapping his legs around them to keep them warm :-).
Happiness is seeing the look of sheer satisfaction on your husband's face when he takes a bite out of a freshly baked dinner roll you made yourself :-).
