Driving by myself

Current Mood:

Somehow communications got crossed: instead of me and another co-worker arriving in Omaha on the same day and traveling to the hotel together, I'm landing in Omaha on Friday and she's landing on Saturday.

That means I have to get the rental car by myself and get to the hotel by myself. Then I have to go back to the airport the next day and pick her up. It's half an hour between the airport and the hotel.

I was sort of counting on us being together so she could be my navigator. I'm so afraid I'll get lost or I'll end up committing a traffic violation because the place is so unfamiliar to me. I get disoriented SO easily.

Steve keeps telling me that this is nothing to worry about; that I'll be fine. God, I hope so.
