Spend... save... spend

Today was definitely a money-centered day :-). Before the sun was up I had already spent about $330. On what, you ask? Well, remember that Flamenco website I'd linked to a few entries back where it had the short lessons? I bought the entire set :-). $300 right there.

Then I was trying to download new wallpaper from Webshots when I realized that I'd pretty much seen all the pictures with a free account. So I upgraded to a premium account... there's the other $30 :-).

Later that day Steve and I went to Bank of America to see if we could open an account. They let us have a joint checking account :-D! After we had filed the proper paperwork and were walking back to the truck, Steve talked about how he would just love to go back to First Tennessee and rub it in their faces :-).

We also went to Best Buy to buy Steve's birthday gift :-). He wanted a DVD copy of the series called Wonderfalls. I had no idea what it looked like, so he came with me to tell me which one it was :-). Okay, so my gift wouldn't be a surprise, but at least I know for sure that he would like it :-).

While we were at Best Buy we also bought two other DVDs: Monty Python and the Holy Grail (Special Edition), which was also for Steve, and The Brak Show for me :-). If you haven't seen The Brak Show from Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, you should check it out--it's really funny :-).
