Pretty cool :-)

The second volume of She-Hulk arrived in the mail today (Superhuman Law). Steve ordered it from amazon.com. I was interested in reading it, but he said it would be better if I read the previous volume first, which he had in his bookshelf.

I walked over to the bookshelf and looked at his comic book collection. I thought to myself, "Man, there are some pretty interesting titles in here. I really should read some of these other things." He doesn't have the single issue comics, he has the compilations. That makes it really convenient to read :-).

Anyway, he was right: reading the first volume first made reading the second volume better :-). Amazing how the comic genre has evolved. Some of the comic writing is so good that it's like reading a well-done movie :-).

Overall, I think it's cool that he's still interested in comics, and that he's interested in it in a literature sense more than a geek sense :-).
